Hi David! I found a small bug with product display pictures. A couple of my items have more than 1 picture. One has 4. So when browsing items (NOT detailed info), the main picture and thumbnails from the other 3 work fine. But, if I view the detailed info, the main picture gets duplicated and added to the thumbnails and so when viewing pics, it is shown twice. Go back to the home page and browse, and it works okay again!
It seems to work okay if the product only has ONE pic.

OK, I’ll check, thank you. I just did a quick test and the main image wasn’t duplicated, so not sure at the moment. Will run a few more tests for the next version.

Yes, if there is only one image it works. But if there are more than one image, and I click "Product Information", the main image is then duplicated. Anyway, thanks for checking it out!
No problem, thanks for reporting the issue, I will repost here once I’ve run more tests.

At the moment I can’t replicate this. If I have one image or multiple images the main image is never duplicated. So, nothing to report at the moment. lol.
Hmm…strange. I just replicated it on Firefox (regular version). I had one image for my product. I clicked "Product Information", no prob. But if I add another pic, then click "Product Information" again, I’ll still see the main pic, but then this same pic is shown as a thumbnail along with the second picture. And if you view the pics in full size mode, the main pic is displayed twice….
Ah, I was only adding a product, not going back and adding images to it later. Now it has replicated. OK, good, now I can see what’s going on.

hehe Coolness. ![]()
Yep, found the problem. The images weren’t duplicating. It was that the main image was also being included in the query for additional images.
Fixed in 3.9, cheers. ![]()
Oh, are there going to be a lot of default template changes, or is it mainly back end source files? I’ve gone a bit crazy with my custom templates. hehe
As per the docs, you should copy the default templates, not use the default. Of course changes will need replicating to the new theme. At the moment there aren’t many template changes.
This update doesn’t affect the templates.
I made my own custom template folder and have been modding those. ![]()
Ok, good. ![]()
