Hi,
I have changed hosting providers and everything went smoothly (almost).
My databases transferred flawlessly, so did the shop script, howvever:
My admin bit works fine, but when I try to access the main shop part (the user bit) I get: "[System Message] You have enabled search engine friendly urls. Please rename the 'htaccess_COPY.txt' file to '.htaccess' and reload page".
I have done as the message tells me, but I keep getting the message.
What else can I do to solve this, please?
Thank you.
Did you rename the txt file correctly? Are you missing the period symbol (or dot) before htaccess? So, should be .htaccess
And are you sure your domains have fully propagated?
Did you rename the txt file correctly?
No, I didn't.
I did indeed miss the dot in front (easy to miss, though).
Anyway, problem solved.
Thank you very much.
I discovered one more problem, my thumbnails don't show up anymore in some places.
There are only two of them and they are present on the system.
I attach a screenshot.
Any idea what could cause that?
Thanks.
Do the thumbnails exist on the server?
Yes, they do.
And some of them are displaed, some aren't.
That is exactly what surprises me.
EDITED: Seems to be solved. Looks like a few things went missing during the transfer.
Thanks anyway.
