If you have questions about my software, chances are this forum has the answers.

You'll need to register before you can post on the forum to ask your question or to answer another one. Here are a few tips to help you to get your questions answered more rapidly.

IMPORTANT: Posts in English only. I don't have a translator and I'll be unable to understand your message properly and will probably delete it.
SEARCH: Use the search option to see if your question has been answered on the forum before now or if there is an answer in the documentation of your software.
PRIORITY SUPPORT: If you have purchased a commercial version of any software, using the contact option at the licence centre ensures a faster response.
AUTO DELETION: Accounts older than 5 days, with no posts or topics, are automatically deleted. Only register if you are thinking of posting.
LINKS: Any links posted are not clickable and must be copied / pasted into your browser address bar.

Supporter can open tickets of his department which are not assigned to him but can not filter for tickets of a specific other supporter from his department. When I can open tickets which are not assigned to me (which is absolutely wanted and ok) I should also be able to filter for these tickets.

I edited the file /admin/control/system/tickets/ticket-open.php and removed the content of the following if-block (just as a workaround as there may be other code which makes more sense here):

Support staff can only open tickets which are assigned to them if they can view assigned tickets only. Maybe something you have changed has altered this?

That`s fine if you want to make changes.

From the beginning and before some of our modifications it was the case that supporters who are no admins can view and open tickets which are assigned to their department but also assigned to a other supporter. This would be ok and correct for us but the filtering for these tickets where forbidden.

Supporter A and supporter B are members of the department "Software". Supporter A can view/open tickets from the department "Software" which are only assigned to support B (and the other way). But when Supporter A filters for tickets of supporter B this is forbidden (though he can view/open these tickets).

You may have a look into this. If this is how it should work then ok but I don't get it wink
