If I give a staff member Restricted Permissions with selections under Page Access set only to Journals Add and Journals Category - NOT Journals Manage I would have thought that the staff member would NOT be able to edit journal entries, other than their own,  However, they are able to edit entries that appear on their dashboard under Last 10 Journals.
Am I mistaken in that assumption?
Thanks David.

Yes, they would have access to both as they aren`t technically separate pages, the add and edit screens load the same template.

I have made a note to maybe tweak it in a future version, but I probably will leave it. I think in most cases someone who can add journals would also be able to edit them?

That must be why if granted only Journals - Manage and nothing else then they will get a 403 Forbidden error if trying to edit a Journal.
I will give them Add as well as Manage to prevent this.
Thanks David.
