If I have a Journal with the title "Journal of my own - going"
And the text content is the same, "Journal of my own - going"
I am not able to locate anything via the Search when I enter "going" while "own" finds the entry as does "Journal"
I can rearrange the words and the same thing happens. The word "going" is never found.
This seems very weird.

According to the documentation:
"Quick search box to search journals. Searches title and comments."
By comments you mean the entered text under the Title and not comments made by someone to a specific blog entry, correct ?

I will keep playing with this because maybe I am missing something.

It`s probably related to the mysql fulltext search system, which is at best, unreliable.

I`ve added an option to disable it, so download replace:

control/classes/class.journals.php
admin/templates/manage.php

Then open 'control/userdef.php' and add the following at the bottom:

define('FULLTEXT_SEARCH', 0);

I added the fulltext system because it`s faster, but then it omits what it classes as common words based on the overall database values. It seems unpredictable at the best of times. sad
