Just as the topic says. tried two fresh installations to be sure with two different usernames/mysql databases ... everything fresh. When I go to change a settings like the site name, it just hangs there with the grey bar animation at the bottom right but never writes the change. the database user has all the required permissions - everything seems to work other than this.

Is there anything in the logs folder? Any errors?

I get mysql access denied. doesn't make sense it does have the rights to the database and installs no problem

Code: 1045
Error: Access denied for user 'lockbox'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
File: /home//public_html/lockbox/control/classes/class.db.php
Line: 413

Did you get it sorted? As the script is receiving that error, the details must be wrong?

It was the right credentials, but for some reason the permissions were not applying. It took a couple tries.
