Just a heads up to let everyone know there will be some minor downtime this Saturday as I switch this website from its current US host to my new dedicated box here in the UK. The disruption will be minimal and only a few minutes, depending on domain propogation time.

If any of you were thinking of purchasing a copyright removal fee, maybe this will be an incentive.

Maian Support - A few people have asked for the exact return data of Maian Support v1.3. This should be sometime in March or April. I`m in the process of giving the script a cosmetic update before I re-launch it. I don`t have time at the moment to go too overboard with code changes, but there are a few things I would like to alter before the script re-appears to make it visually more appealing.

A brand new version of the system is definitely in the pipeline with loads of cool new features. v2.0 won`t see the light of day until next year. TicketDesk Pro will be discontinued. More news about Maian Support to follow.

Maian Cart - v2.0 is progressing ok and I`ll be at the testing stages sometime in March. There is still lots of work to do though, including the documentation and a stand alone website. Launch isn`t expected until later this year.

Maian Links - At the same time I re-launch Maian Support, I`ll be discontinuing Maian Links. This script is out of date now and I have no more development plans for it. As such I`ve decided to remove it from the Maian Script World inventory.

I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year! Lets hope the Year of the Tiger is a good one for all of us.

In the coming months a few changes are going to occur at Maian Script World. The first of these will be to move the site to a brand new dedicated server here in the UK as I plan to consolidate all the websites I have onto a single server. UK users especially should see a huge increase in page load times. I`ll update again as this switch is taking place.

The new version of Maian Cart is nearing completion. This will be a new licenced commercial project and the first to use PHP encryption technology. The script will remain free, but copyright payment will be enforced to move the footer link. Without a paid licence the copyright cannot be removed. This is a new move for my scripts and others will follow suit. Expect to see Maian Cart v2.0 in the first part of this year.

My popular ticket system Maian Support also makes a return this year. For a while I disabled it as it became a commercial application called TicketDesk Pro. However, I`ve decided to revert back to the original script. This will be totally re-written in the coming months and be a bigger better ticket system. TicketDesk Pro will be discontinued. Expect to see the original Maian Support return very soon.
