Are these scripts really free? What is the catch?
There is no catch. I enjoy writing PHP scripts in my spare time and I enjoy sharing them, You are free to use and adapt the scripts, but you must retain a link back to my site. See the licence page for more information.



Do any of your scripts contain spyware?
No, absolutely not. None of my projects will ever contain any form of spyware.



Do your scripts work on Windows servers?
There is no reason why any of my projects should fail on a Windows server, but I cannot give a 100% guarantee as all my projects are tested within Apache environments. Easiest way to find out is to download a script and try it out.



Do your scripts work with PHPv5.0?
Yes. All my scripts are written and tested in a PHPv5.0 environment.



Do your scripts work with register_globals ON or OFF?
Register_globals has been a main bugbear of PHP when it comes to security. Many exploits are down to poorly coded scripts and register_globals being enabled on a server. All my scripts will work with register_globals ON or OFF, however if you have access to your PHP.ini file it is recommended they run with this set to OFF.

The PHP development team are addressing the issue of register_globals in PHP6.



How secure are your scripts?
I like to think they are very secure. A couple of exploits surfaced on older releases, but generally there have been no serious issues for a while. If you do hear of an exploit in any of my scripts, please let me know and I`ll update it. All scripts are downloaded without warranty and are used at your own risk.



Can I remove the copyright notices in the script?

Can you recommend a good hosting company for your scripts?

Can you modify a script for me?
Yes, I can. This though, depends on the scope of the modification required and how busy I am with work projects. Please contact me with more details on the kind of modification you require and I`ll get back to you.



Do you offer script installation services?
Yes, but only if you send a donation first. If you are experiencing difficulties, please post on the forum for help or contact your web hosting company.



Are older versions of your scripts available?
All older versions of my scripts have been discontinued from the site. If you require an older version, you can contact me.



What guarantees do you offer when using your scripts?
There are no guarantees. All scripts are a work in progress and may contain small bugs. You use them at your own risk. I would encourage anyone who finds a bug to report it to me as soon as possible. Thanks.

If I pay to remove the copyright, can I re-brand the script and sell it as my own?
You cannot re-brand any script if all you pay is the copyright removal fee. Should you wish to re-brand any script, please contact me.

I want to remove the copyright, but I don`t have a Paypal acount. Do you accept any other payment methods?
You don`t need to have a Paypal account to use its services. You can pay using any Credit or Debit card.

You can also pay using Nochex, or you can send me a gift certificate from either Yesasia.com or Amazon.co.uk. You may also send me cash, but this should be pounds sterling ONLY and sent with some form of registration. I cannot accept any liability for money getting lost in the post. If you live in the UK, you can also send a cheque or postal order.

Can I sell your scripts?
You can if you have contacted me about a re-branding licence. Otherwise, my scripts must remain free.



Why are there no upgrades for some of your scripts?
Quite simply, I don`t always have time. Things start to get complicated when you try and make it possible to upgrade from previous versions, especially if there are many different updates. Upgrades are not always guaranteed.



I`m still receiving spam with a script using a captcha code or spam sum. What can I do?
There are no guarantees that the spam prevention implementations in the scripts will be 100% effective. I think for most people they are proving ok. Try a search on Google for other alternatives.
