sender missing and showing in email body...

Hi,
first off thanks for the great script!

I have a small issue.
when I test the  "send to  a friend" form (html email)
the email that arrive in my inbox and test inbox have the
"from" part missing in my email client and the first line in the body of the email shows:

From: "site name" X-Sender: "site name" X-Mailer: PHP X-Priority: 3 X-Sender-IP: 181.45.xxx.xxx Reply-To: "sitename"

I have masked the ip .....

Do you know why is happening, i was testing it on local host first and i never once got this problem...
I uploaded it to my host and this happen.

Thank you for your help, hope you can share some knowledge  smile

Re: sender missing and showing in email body...

Glad you like the script. Does your hosting server has restrictions for how the mail headers should be set? Best to look into that first.

David.

Hi David,
I have spoken to my host and they have told me that no restriction are applied to mail header or anything for the matter.

Re: sender missing and showing in email body...

Hi Mike,

I removed your code block at it was stretching the forum. You shouldn`t post sensitive data online either.

As it worked on your local server, that means the script is working ok. Must be some setting on your live server, but I have no idea what I`m afraid.

David.
