when someone pays through paypal the ecard is not delivered. When the ecard is free the ecard is sent no problem.
can anyone help please?

Maian Events doesn`t send cards.
Edit: I assume you mean Maian Greetings? Cards aren`t sent after payment, they should be composed and sent when the account has been updated.

it says Maian Greetings at the top?

I understand what you say. thanks.I went back to test it but it now lets me send cards without paying for it. I have sent 4 to myself so far.
My settings are as follows -
Paypal IPN is Enabled in Settings
Ecard Limit in User Options is set at 0
paypal IPN, the New Ecard Limit is set at 1
my personal Ecard Send Limit is set at 1
should all that direct me to pay every time I want to send an card? I'm pretty sure I must be missing something?
thanks

Yes, I moved it from Maian Events to Maian Greetings, you posted in the wrong forum.
The send limit should be the amount of cards they can send before payment is required. Setting to 0 is unlimited.

thanks.
sorry, it was a mistake posting in Events.
I changed the Ecard limit to 1 as you recommended. Unfortunately I'm still not asked to pay for the ecards.
It used to work fine until a customer informed me that they paid but couldnt send an ecard so I set it as free until I could find the problem and that is where I'm at now.
Is there anything else I could try?
thanks a lot

another observation, I turned off paypal IPN and it stopped me from sending cards saying I had reached my limit. I turned it back on and it let me send without payment.

Strange, I wouldn`t have thought that would have made any difference.
When I added in the payment option, it was experimental, with plans to further update it. But I never got around to it. Its unlikely Maian Greetings will get any more updates for awhile. When it finally does it will be a much simpler system with many current options removed.

sorry to bother you again David. Just to confirm what settings I should have. If I want a customer to be able to send one card at a time and be charged for each one, are the settings below what I would expect to use?
Paypal IPN is Enabled in Settings
Ecard Limit in User Options is set at 1
paypal IPN, the New Ecard Limit is set at 1
my personal Ecard Send Limit is set at 1
appreciate it.

hello David.
this is embarressing but I find myself having to grovel!
try as I might, I can't get paypal to intervene at any point so members can send the ecards for free.
I'm guessing it must be a very localised problem and as you are the man who wrote it, you would have a good idea where it could be. So is there a 'donation' that may entice you to delve into issue for me?
regards
drew
