Integrating with current site (phpfox)

Hi!

I am currently running a website using phpfox, and am interested in integrating maian support as well as a few other maian scripts into it.

I did see that someone previously asked about integrating the login so their site members wouldn't have to login to each section.

I am curious if it is possible to fully integrate it into phpfox, (which is a social networking script), I haven't looked at the files just yet, but if they are encrypted then it might be difficult for me to force it to open in phpfox without having to use iframes.

any suggestions?  ideas?

Re: Integrating with current site (phpfox)

Hi,

I`m afraid I have no idea what phpfox is or how it works, so I can`t really offer much help. As Maian Support is encoded you won`t be able to change any login routines and would probably be difficult to integrate. It can be integrated into an existing site via the template mechanism, but not sure how phpfox is structured.

I am thinking of doing a Wordpress integration at some point, but thats about all at the moment.

Re: Integrating with current site (phpfox)

If you were interested, I could give you access to a development site, or even help get you a development license for phpfox.  As well as give you a pretty basic understanding on how to actually bring it in.  There are a lot of people looking for some of the thigs you have integrated with phpfox completely.  and they are willing to pay smile
