First, I'm not clear on the difference between these two settings (from admin/control/user-defined/defined2_1.inc.php):
ADMIN_HOME_DEFAULT_SALES_VIEW
USER_DEFAULT_GRAPH_VIEW
Second, changing the settings doesn't appear to do anything different, at least on the admin dashboard. Changing it to "week", for example, still loads the today view at helpdesk/admin.
