Hi, so far all has installed well and all seems to be working apart from email.
I am running on a test server using the same setting I use for my joomla site which is all working ok. I am getting an error message “SMTP Error: Could not authenticate”
My server settings for joomala email to work requires SMTP Authentication to be ticked, is there a way to add this to the cart settings.

Authentication should already be set if you enter the username/password for the smtp details.

Hi Im using gmail as my mail for the store and dont matter what i type I always get this error:
SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.
My Settings:
- username: blabla@gmail.com port number: I have tried 25,26,465,587 and no luck
- smtp server: smtp.gmail.com
- and my password

Did you do a search on Google? Do they require additional authentication? I`m not sure with Google. Sometimes you have to allow things to connect to it.

No problem. Might be worth trying another smtp service? SMTP isn`t generally required unless a host specifically requires it to send mail. If the mail is working, then should be no reason for SMTP. Although, on saying that, the one area you would need it is sending attachments via admin when you update an order. Or using the newsletter option, with attachments.
