Hi David, thanks for the brilliant script.
I installed it without any problem. DB created, no problem.
But, when I add an event, I keep geting this message in admin: Title, dates & comments are required fields..
I know Ihave added all the required info, for example,
Title is added,
dates are added (beginning ending)
"Enable Comments:", regardsless if I tick mark or not same problem,
"When Event Finishes:" regardless which radio button I chose, same problem
What I could be doing wrong?
In settings, "Installation Path:" is set as recommended in the documentation: http://www.Mysite.com/events (all files are loaded into the directory called "events")
Am I missing something? Please guide. thanks.

Hi Tara,
Glad you like the script. ![]()
I`m not too sure whats going on here to be honest. If you want to send a tiny donation and email over your FTP details I`ll take a look for you. Can`t think what else to recommend.

Thanks David for your prompt response.
I have a few other scripts that use database. All other databases in mysql works fine for those scripts.
In fact database for "events" is created without error, I can see all four tables in the database. My server tech don't see any problem with the mysql, since all other scripts that use their respective database are working fine.
All my seetings are saved in "me-settings" table.
I can login to admin, no problem there.
But for some reason when I add an event, I keep geting this message in admin: Title, dates & comments are required fields..
I thought may be something obvious I am missing.
If I can make this script to work, and then if I end up using it, I will certainly donate.
Again, thank you for your time and response.

With the comments, are you actually entering a comment in the box??? Its not the checked option, but the comments textarea beneath pictures.

No, i am not. Because my calendar is simple and needs no "event comments". Is it still required field eventhough events on my calendar don't need comments?
Also, events on my calendar don't need "event comments" and event pictures, etc.
I am begining to feel that this script is probably too big for my simple calendar.
