Recipe disabled by default

When a user posts a recipe it says it will be available immediately but it is not. I have approvals turned off but I have to enable the recipe in the admin area. What can I change so that it will be posted automatically? Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Recipe disabled by default

I`ve just tested this. Disabled approval in admin and recipe was immediately on the site.

You sure its disabled in settings? Can`t think what the issue might be, sorry.

Re: Recipe disabled by default

Yes enable approvals is set to no. When logged in as admin if I click recipes and then click approve recipes on the right there are none to approve. The recipe that is currently disabled is highlighted in white in the recipe window and if I click info it says disabled. If I selct the recipe to edit it I can then change enable/disable this recipe to yes and it will show up correctly. If I turn on the require approval option and then add a recipe they then show up in the recipes awaiting approval so I know it is disabled when I have it set to disable.
