I think I got everything set up with the help of my hosting acct - but I don't see a lot of info of how to proceed after everything is set up.  I went to the template file and double clicked on the home template it to see a visual of what I was dealing with.  When I do this, I get a "access denied" with any of the templates.  I guess I need a path to the home template file or  Did I forget to set something up?  And how do I see changes of what I've done on the templates.
