No, you only need the options as specified in the admin area. If its working you`ll see something like this:

Plus comments of course if there are any. I can only assume a setting actually in Disqus is preventing the comments from loading. If you want to contact me I`ll take a look for you.

Well, what am I supposed to be seeing ?

There is an 'Iteme Comments' section, with a 'Powered by Disqus' text link far right of that section, but that's all.

The disqus file seems full with data ( I'm assuming all there of course ).

Can you confirm that I don't need to insert the code that disqus requires you to do ?

Should be ok, Must be to do with Disqus itself if your account is active. I don`t know enough about Disqus to know why its not working I`m afraid.

The disqus.html file was empty the other day when I replaced it and a few others the other day. Seems all there now ( hopefully ).

An "Item Comments" ( items = products ) section and a 'powered by disqus' but nothing else. Maybe in a few hours like the spinner gif took ?

I've cleared browsers and caches.

So I'll leave it there and see if it propogates into existence.

Unless you have a better idea ?

It's all enabled. I'm going to look for empty installed folders now.....

I've not used disqus before, though I've seen it around.

I though I'd enabled all the options for disqus - system / cats/ items or products - and registered at disqus and entered the shortname in maian admin....but I'm still looking for it to show up somewhere....

Suggestions ? Here's a product listing that has disqus enabled :

PS I'm assuming that because there's the actiavation options in admin that I'm not required to insert all the code that disqus asks you to.
