You`ll find that text in the language file, so just edit there.

lol answered my own question. Yes, "item" needs to precede and you can use alphanumberic, eg, itemFILE_0152.

Although I am still curious about changing the description.

Does the item number have to be in the format "itemXXX" where XXX is any number of alpha-numeric digits?

Or can I replace "itemXXX" with something like "DSC_32533"?

I am using a "DSC_32542" type format and all I get an item number that I can't figure out where it is from like "Item#: Pic-1307812139" ... no idea how that item # was derived.
