I have now upped the new version and it seems to have done the trick.
David, I did get you to do some custom chnages for me, they dealt with not having to name each image and also using the original filename as the photo ref number.
Would you have chnaged any part of this file to make these custom chnages work?

Glad you got it sorted George. Those lines won`t be anything to do with permissions though, so I can`t see how they would make any difference.

I`m not sure about the changes and what I changed, so can`t be sure. I don`t think I would have changed anything in the class, so you should be ok.

For the verify block where it starts with 'if $cmd==('verify')', is there another block of code associated with $cmd?

The blog script doesn't have such code starting with the 'if $cmd==' anywhere now that I added this myself. Whatever I change to this code has no affect to the script.

Ok, great. Looks like the script is redirecting incorrectly if the category is disabled. I`ve added that to the fix list.

Its usually a permissions issue when this message appears as the script cannot move the file. If you have chmoded the directory to 777, should be fine. Can`t think what else might cause the problem, sorry.
