Cgi Errors
I purchased the full version of
Maian Support
2.0
Much is working fine, but when I click ADD
NEW USER it will 95% of the time say:
CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning
a complete set of HTTP headers.
When it does come
up with the form, it won't save...it will just say the same
CGI Error.
I get the same CGI error when logging
out...

Re: Cgi Errors
Just adding on to this with more info. It always
gives the CGI error after typing in the new user info and
hitting add new user. I did purchase the license and
installed it. I know there is a limit on users on the free
version, but I still only have the default admin user.
Sometimes it gives the CGI error when going to the
admin link http://www
.siterightnow.com/helpdesk/admin
and if I hit f5 a
couple times it will show the logon screen.
SEARCH SHOWS ALL TICKETS
And I found one major issue.
I logged in as a user who posted a ticket. When I ran the
search, it searched all tickets and let me browse anyone's
tickets. Is this the intention? Is there a way to not show
the search or protect certain tickets that shouldn't be for
public view?
thanks.

Re: Cgi Errors
Hi Mitch,
The search should only return
tickets that have been opened by the person logged in. I`ve
checked and the search does filter the tickets by the e-mail
address of the person logged in. I`ve just checked it on my
live setup and it seems fine, I can`t find other users
tickets.
I have replied via e-mail about the CGI
issue. This is a PHP installation bug on older versions of
PHP running under IIS. Even though the problem has occured
since you purchased the licence, this isn`t script related
and isn`t an issue caused by Maian Support.
