Great Job - A couple of questions

Hi,

First off great job!

I have a few questios for you:

1) How can i update a ticket which sends a reply without switching the ticket to awaiting for a response from visitor.

2) How do you find just tickets that are awaiting response from support?

3) Is there an easy way to delete spam tickets without having to close and purge them?

Thanks

Al

Re: Great Job - A couple of questions

Hi Al,

Thank you for your kind words.

1. Ideally you would set the tickets status to 'Closed' or 'Locked' when you reply. If the ticket is replied to by admin, but left open, it is assumed a visitor reply is required. If you set the ticket to 'Closed' or 'Locked' this closes the ticket and changes the status.

2. I`ve done a quick update for you to add a filter on the open tickets page. This gives you an option to filter by just tickets waiting admin or visitor replies. To update, re-download Maian Support and replace the following:

admin/templates/tickets-open.php

3. Not really, apart from going into the database directly and removing them there. To be honest I hadn`t given spam too much thought with this release. Spam filters will be introduced in the next version, so thanks for mentioning that.

David,

Thanks for the quick response and thank you for adding the new ticket filter.

I'll install the update and give it a whirl.
