Below is some information about this website:
My name is David Ian Bennett and I run this website. I am an experienced back and frontend web developer from South Staffordshire, England with over 13 years experience. My skillset includes PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML, XHTML, JSON, XML & jQuery.
I am NO graphic designer as you can probably see. I am also totally colour blind.
I try to build easy to use, feature rich & modern web applications at an affordable price. Some are free and you can`t get more affordable than that. :)
All scripts on this
website were created and developed by myself. This includes script websites and all backend operations. I believe I offer good products with excellent support.
When I`m not..
..working on client projects or developing software, I like to read, walk, hike and listen to music. I have a passion for instrumental music (mainly new age) and Asian pop music.
I regard Japan`s Ayumi Hamasaki and
China`s Faye Wong as the worlds greatest ever pop divas. I`ve been lucky enough to see Faye Wong live 5 times in Hong Kong.
My favourite CDs are possibly Shadowplay by Tim Story & Relaxing Orient by Wayne Jones. I`m also a big
fan of Patrick Kelly, Back to Earth, Charlie Sneller, Jia Peng Fang and David Tolk. Besides Asian music and instrumental music, I love Finland`s Scandinavian Music Group, who I saw in concert in Helsinki in 2010.
My favourite none Asian singer is Hayley Westenra.

When I travel..
..I tend to spend lots of time in Hong Kong, my favourite place in the world. I also visit other areas in Europe and the UK.
When I read..
..I mainly enjoy crime thrillers and mystery novels. Usually set in an earlier time period. I don`t really have a favourite author. I am the proud owner of an Amazon Kindle® :)

You are probably wondering..
..what "maian" is or means or why I chose it? Its not that exciting really. I used to create my own music under the moniker of "Maian Dream", which I adopted when I used to listen to Israeli trance outfit "Astral Projection". When I started writing scripts I kept the name. Its kind of given it a uniqueness now, which means finding domain names is easier. :p
